Mr. Chuck Evanhoe, President of Evanhoe & Associates, Inc., is internationally recognized as an expert in Automatic Identification and Data Capture and Collection (AIDC) technologies, a key enabler for the Internet of Things (IoT). He is an active member and Chair of the US Technical Advisors Group (ADC1 TAG), the U.S. mirror committee to ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 31 -Automatic Identification and Data Capture Techniques, for radio frequency identification (RFID), real-time locating systems (RTLS) and bar code standards. He is the past Convenor of SC 31’s Work Group (WG) 8 – Application of AIDC Standards. He is also Chair of the INCITS IoT TAG, the U.S. mirror committee to ISO/IEC/JTC 1/ SC 41 – IoT Standards, and a member of the INCITS Artificial Intelligence (AI) TAG. In addition to serving as Chairman, Association for Automatic Identification & Mobility (AIM, Inc.) Board of Directors, he is also an active member of AIM’s RFID Experts Group (REG), the RAIN RFID Marketing Alliance and the ANSI MH10.8 Sub-committee on Coding & Labeling of Unit-Loads. He is also a Sr. Member of IEEE.
He has an extensive background as an experienced Information Technology (IT) professional with diverse background including systems architecture, design, software development, testing, implementation and operations. He has in depth expertise with: data center operations, accounting, planning, automatic identification & data capture (bar codes, RFID, etc.), retail merchandising, warehousing, shipping & logistics systems, insurance systems, health care, banking applications and enterprise asset management and tracking.
He is a multi-talented, senior-level entrepreneurial executive with extensive experience in business start-up, operations, process re-engineering, domestic and international sales, as well as marketing, strategic planning, operations, information systems, team building, accounting, financial analysis, purchasing, and contract negotiation. Demonstrated ability to start and build multiple businesses to multi-million dollar revenue streams in short time periods while generating profits.
He founded Evanhoe & Associates, Inc. in 1996 as a provider of information technology (IT), automatic identification technologies (AIT), and automatic identification and data collection & capture (AIDC) solutions. Evanhoe & Associates serves both the commercial and government markets and employees with over 75 people across the U.S.
He is married to Anita Sue (Wingfield) and has four children. They are both originally from the Topeka, Kansas area. He attended the U.S. Naval Academy and has an Bachelors and Masters in Business Administration.

Vice President of Public Sector Business
Bob served nearly 25 years in the US Air Force in aircraft maintenance, logistics, and leadership roles and has continued to serve for the past several years in multiple consulting and project management roles for both small businesses and large consulting firms prior to joining Evanhoe in 2012. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland and a Juris Doctor degree from Marquette University Law School. He is a lifetime member of the Logistics Officer Association (LOA) and Air Force Association (AFA) and previously served as a Council Member and Mayor of the Village of Cedarville.
Vice President of Contracts & Administration
Marty Pendergrass is the Vice President for Contracts & Administration at Evanhoe & Associates. She is responsible for development of pricing, negotiation, and management of all contracts and subcontracts. Additionally, Ms. Pendergrass oversees all HR, Security, and Company Administration activities for Evanhoe & Associates. Ms. Pendergrass has over 20 years of experience in federal and commercial contracts management.
Ms. Pendergrass started her contracting career with the United States Air Force as a Government Civilian. As a Contracting Officer, she served in multiple roles in the USAF acquisition community, supporting the development of major weapon systems. Ms. Pendergrass attended the University of Tennessee’s undergraduate program in business and then transferred to Wright State University (WSU) where she graduated with a BS in Personnel Management. She went on to receive a MBA from WSU. Ms. Pendergrass is a member of NCMA and Women In Defense (WID).
Heather Johnson, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Heather Johnson is the Chief Financial Officer at Evanhoe & Associates. She is responsible for the Accounting Department and oversees all fiscal reporting activities, including internal and external financial reporting, development and monitoring of budgets, and reporting to state and government agencies. She also assists the proposal department with pricing support and analysis.
Ms. Johnson is a Certified Public Accountant and has spent the majority of her career in the Construction and Engineering industry. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Kansas (KU) where she also serves on the Accounting Information Systems (AIS) Advisory Council for the School of Business.
Dan Freeman, PMP & CSM
Director of Solution Delivery and Support
Dan Freeman is the Director of Solution Delivery and Support for Evanhoe & Associates. He is responsible for overseeing Evanhoe solutions involving custom software development and support. He has served as a software developer, project manager, and software development director in previous roles.
Mr. Freeman has over 18 years of experience in quality software development. He is a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Scrum Alliance certified ScrumMaster (CSM). He is a graduate of Cedarville University and has an MBA from Wright State University.
Bart Ivy, PMP
Director of Automated Identification Data Collection (AIDC) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Solutions
Bart A. Ivy is the Director of Automated Identification Data Collection (AIDC) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Solutions for Evanhoe & Associates. He is responsible for finding and facilitating the launch of AIDC/RFID projects. He defines technical solution requirements, architecture, design, customization, deployment, integration with customers’ systems, and acceptance testing, while ensuring high-quality services and highly-efficient operations to satisfy our customer requirements. Bart is also the chairman for AIM RFID Experts Group’s Material Handling and Explosives working groups.
Bart is a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant with a distinguished career leading the planning, staffing, budgeting, technology integration, and improvement of AF Logistics life cycle activities and material handling for conventional and nuclear munitions weapons systems and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Project Management. He is also a certified Project Management Professional
Director of Public Sector
Mr. Aaron Hager is the Director of Public Sector Business for Evanhoe & Associates, Inc. He is responsible for the centralized management of multiple projects, focusing on increasing business value, making the best use of limited resources, and building synergies between projects within the organization’s strategic direction. Additionally, Aaron actively pursues business development with the responsibility to develop strong partner relationships, identify opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, and leads the development of proposals to meet client needs.
Aaron served 24 years in the United States Air Force in aircraft maintenance and logistics disciplines, leading organizations at multiple levels of leadership. Since retiring from active duty, he has served in project management and consulting roles with a large firm prior to joining Evanhoe in 2019. Aaron earned his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is an active member of Logistics Officer Association (LOA) and serves as the Executive Administrator for The Church at Eastmont in Riverside, OH.
Molly Schwartz, PMP
Project and Quality Manager
Molly Schwartz is the Quality Manager for Evanhoe & Associates. She manages the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 20000-1:2011, and CMMI ML 3 processes and procedures to maintain the current certifications/appraisals. Molly is also a Project Manager for the company and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Ms. Schwartz has a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management and Operations Management from Wright State University (WSU). In addition, she has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Project Management, also from WSU. Outside of the work day, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, quilting, reading, and crafting.
Elyse Burns is the Marketing Manager at Evanhoe & Associates. She is responsible for developing marketing collateral, creating marketing and brand strategies, running promotions and ensuring tradeshow execution goes smoothly.
With over 7 years of marketing experience, Elyse graduated from Wright State University with a bachelor’s in marketing and a minor in management. She spent five years at ACCO Brands, overseeing multiple product lines under brands such as Mead®, Cambridge® and finally held the role of Product Manager of AT-A-GLANCE®.
